Buying fabric then doing nothing with it for several months if at all.
For those of you that know not what yesterday was, it indeed was the Day of Silence. If you can imagine it, I spent from 7:45am til 2:30pm with out speaking, except during the noon half hour when it was agreed that the Silence would be broken in a certain area to have a discussion. The Day of Silence was originally a class project on peaceful demonstration, and now has grown to a nation level to raise awareness to the silencing of the opinions of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transexuals, transgenders, and their allies.

My mom, my sister, and I are entertaining the idea of going to the Amana Ren Faire on the 4th day of May and were planning ahead and finding out-fits. She loves playing the part of a Faire, and I joined in on it. Here's some of the results. More can be found in the blog photo section.
Well, with the lovely weather outside (at least it isn't snowing!) my sinus' have decided it was high time that I took a day off from school and be miserable. On the upside, Mom said that if I'm feeling better by tonight, I still get to go with her to see Cat on a Hot Tin Roof!
Along with my sinus' hating me, I also have a new pair of Pointe shoes that I've been breaking in...one word...ow. These ones aren't the usual brand I use; instead these are from Japan, more expensive in hopes that the box, or toe, part of the shoe won't indent after a couple months of dancing in them as my last pair did.
For any interested in hearing the Ames High School Choirs perform, our Spring Concert is on the 28th. I believe tickets are $3, but I make no promises as I've never had to purchase a ticket.
Well, it was a great day at work...not. My co-workers were arguing over only the Lord knows what, and I was there with a migrane...lovely. On top of that, I was there from a little before 4pm until 9:50ish...standing on a concrete floor, emphasis on the standing. And joy of all joys, I get to do it again tomorrow from noon until 7pm, just great. Thankfully though I was able to get Sunday off for the Royal Court rehearsal.
On the upside it was payday today. I managed to spend the majority of my money that I wasn't putting into my bank account on a pair of new pointe shoes, and my very own digital camera...now I don't have to...*hem* "borrow" my grandpa's anymore.
Feel free to vent back to me...I like hearing from everyone. Have a wonderful weekend!
March, it seems so long ago already, was a hectic month. I got a job, my sister set something in the microwave on fire, and Mom had her other breast removed as a precautionary measure. The teachers at school gave us more homework than I believe they should have been allowed in preparation for midterm grades. I celebrated Easter with all three sides of my family, and wasted a week doing practically nothing durning spring break.
